I. Excerpt From, Gilded Tongues and False Prophets: The Rise and Fall of California’s Most Controversial Mystic: A Memoir, by Clarence Burgess (Private Press, 2008)

“[...] I became convinced that every meaningful event of my adult life had been embodied somehow in that one harrowing night of my youth. My encounter with LSD at sixteen had permanently cured my chronic migraines, but at what cost? I now understood the truth: I had strayed from the light, and my reprieve came at the expense of my immortal soul. I recommended psychedelics to my patients, wrote of their healing properties in my books, but my motivations were self-serving and my methods dishonest. I did not believe in my own teachings. For years, I was terrified to go out in public due to a debilitating anxiety that I might be dosed against my will. The unearthing of my fraudulent degree was only the beginning, an omen that the fiction I had maintained for decades was at last beginning to unravel.”

II. Crown Aura is the point in time and space where the material gives way to the ethereal. The sloping path on the far side leads eventually to enlightenment, but all around it is fraught with danger. Only those who are properly equipped for such a journey should dare undertake it, lest they stray from the path in the dark, and become lost forever.

III. The arrival of Crown Aura on the plane of Terra signals the dawn of the End Times.

This album makes you feel like you're inside an old computer that is on it's last legs. Everything is glitchy, aggressive, and decaying around you.
